TRTR 2024 Logistics

Registration:
We have multiple registration options this year!
One Day Registration-$250: Before August 17th or $300: After August 17th
Full Week Registration-$800: Before August 16th or $850: After August 17th
For One Day registrations there are also options to include that day’s social activity if applicable.

Meals:
Breakfast will be served Monday through Thursday.


Lunch will be served Monday and Tuesday and then off-site during tours on Wednesday for those who attend. No lunch will be served on Thursday.


Monday night is a banquet dinner and Tuesday is a social event dinner. Tickets to these events are included in your Full Registration and additional tickets are offered if needed (see Social Activities Section).

Sandia National Laboratories and Kairos Facility Tours:
U.S. Citizen attendees can join their fellow attendees on a tour of Sandia National Laboratories facilities including ACRR, GIF, and SPR/CX and a tour of the Kairos facility. We can accommodate 25 people on each tour and the tour groups will switch locations after lunch. After the morning tours lunch will be at the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History with box lunches from Jason’s Deli. There will be time to wander around the museum before going to the afternoon tours. The first 50 people to sign up for these tours will be able to attend; after we hit this maximum, we will start a wait list.

Guest Options:
If you have a guest, we are offering multiple ways for them to be involved. Guests can join attendees for breakfast every day, lunch on Monday through Wednesday, and the banquet dinner on Monday evening at El Bruno. This option is called “Guest Meals and Banquet Ticket” on the attendee registration form and tickets are available for $200 if purchased by August 17th, $250 if purchased after August 17th.

The first guest only activity is on Tuesday, October 1st and is a day trip to Old Town in Albuquerque. Guests will be bussed to Old Town for a 10:00am History & Ghost Tour of Old Town and then enjoying lunch at Church Street Café. Attendees will have time after lunch to wander around Old Town shops and sights before reboarding the bus at 3:30pm to return to hotel before evening Social Event. This option is called “History & Ghost Tour of Old Town-Tuesday” on the attendee registration form and tickets are available for $60 if purchased by August 17th, $70 if purchased after August 17th.

The second companion only activity is Wednesday, October 2nd. The day starts with a bus ride to the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History to enjoy a boxed lunch and tour the awesome exhibits throughout the museum. Afterwards the bus will take companions down to Kelly Jo Designs, Inc. to Paint Your Own Pottery while sipping wine! There are loads of shapes to choose from and staff artists ready to help get you on your way! This option is called “Nuclear History Museum and Wine & Paint-Wednesday” on the attendee registration form and tickets are available for $45 if purchased by August 17th, $55 if purchased after August 17th.

Social Activities:
Our first social event is an Opening Reception on Sunday evening in the Kokopelli Room at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid to kick off the meeting. All attendees and companions are invited to this event and it is free of charge. Appetizers and drinks will be available.

Monday evening we will be enjoying dinner and drinks at El Bruno’s Restauranté y Cantina. Bruno and Hazel were born and raised in Cuba and were high school sweethearts. As a child, Hazel spent many hours learning the zesty, and sometimes fiery, recipes of her family. These are the recipes that come to your table in the restaurant today. Tickets to this event are included in your Full Attendee registration and Companion Meals. One Day Attendee and Companion tickets are available for $25 if purchased by August 17th, $35 if purchased after August 17th.

Tuesday evening, we will be enjoying dinner and drinks at the Explora Science Center & Children’s Museum with time afterward to roam around this hands-on museum. We will have a guest speaker during the dinner, more details on that coming out soon. Tickets to this event are included in your Full Attendee registration. One Day Attendee and Companion tickets are available for $50 if purchased by August 17th, $60 if purchased after August 17th.
